  1. For an interesting book full of strange and sometimes vague recipes, Australian Early Settlers Household Lore is a great book to try. The Devilled Sandwich Bake recipe is my favourite

  2. I would love to see you do a video on the Australian Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book. It was initially released in 1980 but still prints today and has remained an integral part of childhood memories for the past 3 generations. It'd be interested to see what the boys thought of it and see how they go constructing the fabulous creations in the book.

  3. challenge just started
    Barry: "This is really easy"
James: "Why have you read it 4 times then?"
    Barry: insert pikachu meme face

  4. A Japanese cookbook (in Japanese), where they have to rely on the pictures. XD Something similar to "Japanese Soul Cooking by Todashi Ono", but not in English, obviously.

  5. Here's a suggestion: How about something from Indo Dutch Kitchen Secrets, by Jeff Keasberry. Its rated 5 stars on amazon and would love to see your take on it 🙂

  6. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook. It’s not exactly a celebrity cook book but it would still be fun to see the chefs/normals review it.

  7. wait, did i spy one of the gadgets from an old video around 5:48? the spoon with the angled handle for scraping the sides of jars? was that sorted that tested that one out or another food channel…?

  8. The can of chopped green chilies a very different from the peppers they added. They are way milder, and have a lot more moisture, which probably would have helped with the texture issue with the queso.

  9. I used to work for a book publishers where one of our bestselling books was… Cooking With Coolio! It’s totally ridiculous and you should definitely review it! 😁

  10. I would like to see you guys review Misha Collins cookbook. It's called The Adventurous Eaters Club, and i think it has a cool concept. (Maybe the Official Supernatural cookbook can be fun as well.)

  11. A pretty fool proof recipe for queso is
2.5 lbs of white American cheese.
1.25 lbs of Peper Jack cheese.
    1.5 cups of whole milk.
    1.5 cups of water
.5 cups of light beer(I tend to use Corona)
1 tbsp of canned diced jalapenos.
Shred the cheese. add everything to a pot and heat on low whisking often. Allow to cool slightly and serve.
NOTE: this makes a lot of queso about 5 people's worth. It can be put in to an air tight container and will keep for several days in the refrigerator. Just heat in a pot on low or microwave on high until melted. If you microwave make sure to stir the queso ever 30-45 seconds so as not to burn it.

  12. I'm from northern michigan where the opening day of deer hunting season (November 15) is an actual holiday. school gets cancelled for this day. Please create a video around this theme, someone could dress up like Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny in drag!!!

  13. Out of the box cookbook would be the Hotel Chocolat A New Way Of Cooking With Chocolate, if you love chocolate and you love steak and want to be able to combine the two this will be the perfect cookbook for you

  16. you should do the dosa kitchen cookbook – it's a cookbook written by Nash, who lives near me (in Vermont, USA) and has a food truck making indian dosas. They're delicious and it's a great cookbook.

  17. How about a review for the Dark Side of the Spoon Rock Cookbook? I saw they sell it at We Built This City in Carnaby Street 🙂

  18. You should get James and Ben to review Les dîners de Gala, Dali’s cookbook. That’s sure to be just the right amount of bizarre.

  19. I would love to see your review Misha Collins (he is a US actor on the long running show Supernatural) new cookbook The adventurous Eaters Club.

  20. Hello Guys the lads should review Firefly – The Big Damn Cookbook found on Amazon best book in the verse with 70 recipes for any Browncoat fan

  21. Just ran into this cookbook. Had to share.

  22. Whoever did the captions seems to think Barry and James said "Yes Quinn", and every time Mike speaks it says his name is Quinn. 🤣🤣🤣

  23. Cookbook review suggestion: Up your vegan cooking game, review some of the great vegan cookbooks!! Start with the classic Veganomicon (which recently released a 10th anniversary edition) by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero, I also highly recommend Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World also by Moskowitz and Romero, and Isa Does It by Moskowitz (I make her banana bread sans choc + whatever mix-ins take my fancy probably once a month, it's so easy and you don't miss anything), Vegan Eats World by Romero, Afro-Vegan by Bryant Terry, and Smith & Daughters and Smith & Deli-cious both by Shannon Martinez (a non-vegan chef who runs a hugely successful vegan restaurant and even more successful vegan deli in Melbourne, Australia. I'm sure if you do one vegan cookbook review vid and ask people for suggestions other people will tell you their favourites, I've just stuck to ones I use all the time.

  24. Can we have a crossover of Queer eye and Sorted? I imagine Antoni would be thirsting over James (although, who could blame him?)

  25. "Little Old Lady" cookbooks. Charity groups put them out, like The Junior League, Jaycees, Elk's club, etc. The older the book, the better.

  26. please please please review the thug kitchen cook book its so amazing I'm not even vegetarian and I love all the recipes to much!
