Brewing their own success story

Brewing their own success story

Tim and I were actually at a Fisher event
when we had the idea to start the business. If it weren’t for Fisher we
wouldn’t have met each other. The initial concept for this business, when
it came to us, was to differentiate us from other breweries by being the brewery
where our customers can actually come in and have that hands-on experience
of brewing the beer themselves. Fisher helped us to be on the lookout
for opportunities and today the business looks totally
different than it did. In the end of the day, we’re in the
manufacturing business. Seven years ago, I would have never
thought we’d see cans of North High at Giant Eagle, Kroger, Meijer, every other
grocery store in Ohio. We’ve got some great growth, we’ve got a great team,
the future is looking good. My fondest memories from the program,
certainly the most standout one, is having met Tim and, you know, building
the business and, even though it was at the end of my time at Fisher, you know,
retaining that that network of people, that network of friends, that network of
professionals as we launched what is a huge chapter in our lives. So I
look back on it very fondly. Without Fisher, North High would not
exist today, number one because I wouldn’t have met, you know, my
business partner, Gavin. Number two, I wouldn’t be confident enough to
speak to the right people to open a business and get financing and
everything that goes along with the challenges of being an
entrepreneur. Fisher gave us the the confidence, the
network and the resources to be able to seize on the opportunity that we found
when we found it and to be able to run with it and create and open and expand
the business as we’ve done today.
