Cooking Demo: Breaking Down The Bird | Season 10 | MASTERCHEF

Now, to be a true
master chef, you have to be able to take
a stunning bird like this and break it down into
all its delicious parts. It’s so easy, honestly,
for me, I could do it with my eyes closed. [music playing] Two drums, two
thighs, two wings, two breasts, one carcass. Lift up the knife,
pierce back the skin, and literally slice through. Pull back, pop out, slice off. Pierce, pull back,
pop out, slice down. Feel where the knuckle is. Off. Chicken wing. Cut through the wing. Snap off, feel the
breastbone down the middle, come through the wishbone,
and let the knife do the work. Breast on. Pull back the fillet. Off. One carcass, two drums, two
thighs, two wings, two breasts. Done.
– Well done. [applause] Well done. Easy. [applause]

  1. I could do the same ….
But in the end there would be a whole chicken and five fingers on the chopping board……!!

  2. Watch Americans don't wash or clean their chicken. And then use Salt and Black! Pepper for season. And after feel they own the world

  3. usually we see people dropping their mic after making a sick burn but as for Gordon he dropped the fricken knife after he breaking down a chicken WITH HIS EYES CLOSED!

  4. Gordon Ramsay can even cook with his eyes closed! Gordon Ramsay went from level 1 to level 10000000000000000000

  5. I wonder how many knife holes are in that chopping board because after 99% of his demonstration he drops the knife onto the board 😂
