Namaskar. I am Misha Madhulika Today we will make fried soya chaap. You can serve it as snacks in the evening. It tastes delicious. To make Fried Soya Chaap first of all, marinate the soya chaap. Here we have 6 soya chaaps. Let’s prepare masala to marinate them. Take 2 tbsp curd, 1/2 tsp ginger paste, 1/2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp coriander powder. 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt. Mix all ingredients well. To marinate put the soya chaap in the masala. Put 3 to 4 marks on the soya chaap like this with help of a knife, so that the spices fill inside the soya chaap. All the soya chaaps are marked and dipped in spices. Coat the masala well. Coat it well with the help of a spoon. Keep the soya chaaps aside for 20 minutes. so that the spices are absorbed well in it. Here we have 1 cup soya chunk. Let’s grind and make powder from it. We are not grinding it as we need it coarsely ground. All the chunks are ground and ready. Here we have 1/2 cup refined flour, add a little water to it. make a fine paste from it. If you add all water at once, then it becomes inconvenience to make paste. Refined flour paste is ready. It seems a bit dense, add a little water and mix well. We need it in pouring consistency. Do not make it too runny. It should be of this consistency. Now mix spices to it. add 1/2 tsp chili flakes, 1/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper, we have coarsely grinded 8 to 10 black pepper. add 1/2 tsp oregano, add 1/2 tsp salt, Mix all ingredients well. The slurry is ready. 1/2 cup water is used to make it. 20 minutes are done, Soya chaap is marinated and ready. Put oil to heat in a wok. Take a soya chaap and dip and coat it well in refined flour slurry. now coat it with coarsely ground soya chunks, It should be vcoated well with soya chunks powder. You can also use bread crumbs or corn flakes instead. Press it well with hands. Coat all the soya chunks likewise in refined flour slurry and soya chunks powder. All the soya chaaps are coated and ready. To check if the oil is rightly hot, drop a pice of soya chunk in oil. The chunk is fried and floats over oil. Oil is rightly hot. To fry soya chaap you need suffeciently hot oil. Put the soya chaap to fry. Soya chaaps are golden brown from beneath, flip them. Soya chaaps are golden brown fried and ready. Hold it on the ladle on the edge of the wok. so that extra oil drains back to the wok. Keep it out in a plate. Fry and prepare all soya chaaps likewise. Soya chaaps are golden brown, take them out. it takes 4 to 5 minutes to fry soya chaaps once. Fried soya chaaps are ready. Thesre are really sumptuous soya chaaps. Crispy on outside and soft on inside. You can serve it with green coriander chutney, tomato sauce, or with any chutney of your choice.
