How to Make Coffee and Espresso with your Verismo® V Brewer

(calm music) – [Man] Making that delicious morning cup or a refreshing ice espresso
in the afternoon is so easy. Let’s start with brewed coffee. Take one of your favorite
brewed coffee pods and this is important, remove the tab at the
bottom just before brewing. Lift the handle at the top of the Verismo, insert the brewed pod and be sure to close the handle completely so that the brewer is engaged. Now, press the brew button, which is the larger of the
two cup icons at the top. The beverage will begin pouring
as Verismo makes your drink. Once it’s finished, lift the handle again to eject the pod into the discard bin. Reclose the handle and
remove the finished beverage. If you prefer espresso, the process is only a
little bit different. Pick your favorite espresso pod, I love the Classic
Starbucks Espresso Roast, which is the same roast we use for every espresso beverage in our stores, but you can explore all
of our espresso blends and single origin coffees to find your favorite flavors. Press the espresso button, which is the smaller of the
two cup icons at the top. The beverage will begin to pour, and you’ll start smelling the aromas. Once it’s finished,
remove your mug or glass. Because the espresso shot is the basis for a lot of different drinks, it’s really important that you start with an exceptional espresso. The Verismo Milk Frother let’s
you use your choice of milk, dairy or non-dairy, to finish your favorite coffee drinks with creamy, silky foam
that’s either hot or cold. The frother has three pieces to it: the lid, the frother itself and the base. The unit is non-stick, which makes it really easy to clean and the Verismo Milk Frother also includes a metal whisk for making a lot of foam
for drinks like cappucinos. To use the milk frother, fill it with milk to the line on the inside
of the frother unit which says Max. To make lots of foam,
add the whisk attachment to the whisk holder. The amount of foam you get
is perfect for a cappucino. If you don’t have the whisk attached, the frother will heat the milk and produce a smaller amount of foam, which is perfect for drinks
like lattes and mochas. Press and hold the button for
one second to get hot foam. This turns the light red. Press and hold the same
button for three seconds and the light turns blue, which means the frother
is creating cold foam. This is perfect for iced beverages like a Kenya espresso over ice, simple and delicious. As you can see, the Verismo
V is the perfect companion for creating delicious espresso at home. For more recipes, visit verismo.com. Have fun creating. (calm music)
