[KO/EN] 닭볶음탕(Braised Spicy Chicken) 만드는 법



Chicken One (Whole chicken precut in pieces) (800g ~ 1000g), Potato One One potato (200g), 1/2 onion (150g), 1/3 carrot (80g), 1 large green onion (50g), 700cc water
3T Red pepper Chili powder, 1/2T Red pepper chili paste, 3T Soy sauce, 1T Sesame oil, 1T Minced Garlic, 1t Black pepper, 1t Minced Ginger
Shiitake mushrooms 50g, Rice cake 20g Score the chicken pieces deeply. Put the chicken, 2T sake, and 1t salt in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Then wash the poached chicken with cold water. This removes unwanted smell and improves the taste of the chicken. Thoroughly mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Add the chicken and mix then
leave it to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes Cut the fresh vegetables into small chunks. Put sesame oil on a heated pan and add the seasoned chicken then briefly fry it for extra flavour. If you like more char or fire flavor use a higher heat. If not just use a medium heat. Pour water in the sauce bowl to pick up the remaining sauce and add this to the chicken. Add the fresh vegetables. Cover and simmer on a low heat until the taste develops. (About 20-30 minutes) Plate your delicious braised spicy chicken and garnish with some sliced green onions and chillis. Now your dish is complete. Try this dish and I hope you enjoy it. Be healthy.
