MARTHA STEWART’S COOKING SCHOOL | Kebabs | PBS Food

– Long ago in the Arabian
Gulf when wood was scarce, cooks had to devise ways of
cooking meat with limited fire. The solution was to thread small
pieces of meat onto skewers so they cooked quickly,
and it’s the kabob. I’m gonna show you four inventive ideas that you and your guests
are going to love, beginning with pomegranate
molasses, my secret ingredient for the most flavorful skirt steak kabobs. And for all of you lamb lovers, tantalizing kabobs made with feta cheese. You’ll definitely wanna
try these bite-sized beef, mushroom, and millet kabobs. Don’t forget the tahini
and the tamarind sauces. And the juiciest chicken
kabobs you’ll ever eat, thanks to the addition of yogurt. Next time on Cooking School.
