WHAT BETTER THAN COLD WEATHER AND HOT DISH? IT’S JUST SYNONYMOUS WITH NORTHERN MINNESOTA.>>LOCAL CHEFS FROM PRAIRIE BAY GRILL, ERNIE’S, THE LAST TURN SALOON, GRANDVIEW LODGE, MADDEN’S, THE GREEN LANTERN, AND BLACK BEAR LODGE, ALL COOKED THEIR BEST DISH WITH 100% OF THE PROFIT GOING TO THE SOUP KITCHEN.>>IT’S WHEN THE FOOD SELVES AND SOUP KITCHENS REALLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT.>>THE IDEA CAME ONLY ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO, BUT THE BREWERY WAS FILLED WITH HUNGRY LOCALS.>>THEY WERE ALL DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS.>>MY TOSS-ONE.>>MY FAVORITE WAS ERNIE’S BROWNED DUCK.>>EVERY DISH WAS FANTASTIC AT THE JACK PINE BREWERY, BUT AT THE END, THERE COULD ONLY BE ONE WINNER.>>THE ONE THAT ENDED UP TOPPING EVERYONE ELSE WAS MADDEN’S. THEY BROUGHT A SMOKED PORK TENDERLOIN WITH MUSHROOM AND PENNY HOT DISH. IT WAS WONDERFUL.>>I THINK THE STEAL OF THE SHOW WAS TONIGHT’S GARLIC BREAD. WE HAVE A GREAT STAFF OVER AT MADDEN’S, OWE IT ALL TO THEM.>>WHILE PEOPLE MAY HAVE DISAGREED ON WHICH DISH WAS THE BEST, NO ONE CAN DISAGREE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT.>>IT WAS A QUICK PHONE CALL, QUICK E-MAIL, AND I HAD SEVEN DIFFERENT PLACES WILLING TO COME IN AND SERVE HOT DISH.>>BRAINERD LAKES PEQUOT AREA IS SUCH A SMALL ANYTIME CREW.
