[Justin Taylor] I like to make beer, number one that I’m
passionate about and I like to drink. I really love IPAs and hoppy beers and hop
forward beers but I don’t like a lot of bitter taste that goes along with hops. So
we make beers that are very focused on the fruit characteristics that hops can
deliver rather than the bittering aspect of it. The Juice Bomb’s a beer that, it’s
a newer style IPA, or new-school, or North Eastern style IPA. Typically hops were
used in the past to act as a bittering agent to kind of counterbalance this
sweetness that the malt has. We decided to do this beer style, this New England
IPA that showcases what every hop flavor has to bring to the table. So it’ll come
out as fruity, or piney, or vinous, you know, just anything that the hop plant
has to offer we try and capture that with this beer.
IPA has always been king in this industry but we’re not afraid to make
IPAs that kind of push the envelope, push the limits.
