Welcome to nishamadhulika.com Today we will make palak fry. Spinach is full of iron, vitamins and fibres. It is very nutritious and takes minimal of time to prepare. Let’s see what all ingredients are required for making this recipe. Spinach – 500 grams Remove stalk, wash twice thoroughly and place them in sieve. Spinach should be dry completely. Tomato – 2 Oil – 2 tbsp Green coriander – 2 tbsp (finely chopped) Green chilly – 2 (finely chopped) Ginger – 1 tsp (1 inch piece grated) Cumin seeds – ½ tsp Asafoetida – 1-2 pinch Turmeric powder – less then ¼ tsp (optional) Red chilly powder – less then ¼ tsp Salt – ¾ tsp (as per taste) For making palak fry dice spinach and tomatoes finely. Make a bunch and cut like this. Cut tomatoes as well. Add oil in preheated pan. When oil gets hot add cumin seeds. After suating cumin seeds add asafoetida, green chilly, ginger, turmeric powder, tomatoes and spinach, salt and red chilly. Sauté for 2 minutes. Cover and cook sabzi for 2-3 minutes. Cook the sabzi as it now so that juice evaporates. Within 5-6 minutes sabzi will be ready. Sabzi is ready; turn of the gas. Add green coriander in the sabzi. Palak fry sabzi is ready; take it out in a bowl. Serve palak fry with chapatti, parantha or rice. Try making this recipe at your home and share your experiences with us.
