– I needed this. All right, so this is where
you guys began, Chad, huh? – Yes, it is. This is a very small closet, you can say. It was in a big warehouse that was used for construction storage
home brewing equipment. – And you guys were home brewers. – Home brewers, yes. We started out in a garage and Mark and I hit it off
making recipes that we liked and the friends liked, entered a few amateur
competitions and from there we wanted to find a commercial
spot we could do it in. We started out in this very small spot and slowly pushed the
construction equipment out and here we are today. – You have distribution in
terms of like a 50 mile radius, right? People don’t just go to the
store and pick up your beer. – No we don’t package per se, everything is sent out in kegs, we self distribute our beer. Small independent brewery
that is just trying to make a local impact of a quality beer. We have over 36 different beers that we do and were always adding to that list but we always fall back to
about three or four core beers and keep them in the rotation as well. So kind of our promise is get out there serve our beer fresh local
get it out to accounts and then those people want
to come and get in touch with the brewery, so we rolled open our doors
on weekends and we noticed, we didn’t think in this area
we’d get a lot of traffic, people coming to warehouse
to buy beer, but we did. And then we get into a
crawler which is a hybrid of a growler and a can. You take this can, you
pick a beer that you want, and we’ll fill it for you. – That’s it. Okay. There we go, now we’re talking. – It’s sealed up. It’s reclyable so there’s
CRV on that and you drink it, you can share it with friends. – That’s awesome. – Pretty awesome. – That is fantastic beer. So you are the Casper portion. – I am the Casper. – I wanna go find the Benoit portion. – There is a Benoit. Mark Benoit of Benoit Casper. – That’s me. – What’s the future of Benoit Casper? – Bigger, better, faster. We can’t grow fast enough. We’ve produced a lot of
really high quality beers. So we’re very true to form
with very European styles and then we try to
bring a sense of balance to American hoppy beers
that doesn’t exist today. It’s really striking a
core with the community. – And I love because you got guys here. How you guys doing? Good? – Absolutely okay.
– Woo! Alright. I forgot my beard. That is a nice looking beard. – That is.
– I gotta be honest. I need a hat, I do need a
hat to be part of this crew. Thank you. Okay, do you have any personal favorites of your 36 beers that you brew? – One of our special beers I
like to talk about is actually named after my youngest son,
Gavin, who just turned five. A dark strong beer
that’s about 13% alcohol that really defines-
– Whoa 13%, man. – Gavin’s Dark Strong Ale. – Gavin’s Dark Strong Ale. What’s your favorite one? – Alten Amber. – I like the Double IPA. – I’m gonna go with the Ferry Point. – The “Rosie the Riveter”, for the community connection
and the great hoppyness. – I like the IPA because
