TURKEY BURGERS | Make at Your Next Cookout! | GRILLING OUT | MOORE APPROVED


in this episode I season some meat I use a spatula and I show you how to make this delicious open-faced turkey burger served on a freshly baked pretzel bun welcome back to moore approved I’m James and today I’m going to be grilling out I went to my local grocery store and I picked up about a pound of turkey burgers each of them divided into four ounce portions and we’re going to go ahead season these up throw them on our grill and then we’re going to plate them up so all you’re going to need for this is some turkey burgers whether you make them yourself or you buy and pre-made from the store as well as a Montreal chicken seasoning and some spray oil to get started I’ve gone ahead and preheated my grill go ahead and repeat that process take an add some seasoning be very generous with it spray it down with some oil and then drop it into place spray the other side so it doesn’t stick and put some seasoning on it Pat that the place now I’m going to wash my hands disinfect everything I touched and we’ll check on these here in a minute take a quick look at our turkey burgers I’m just gonna lift it up a little bit take a look I’ll move this on down and move that one down a little bit and move that one up there and the real benefit of spraying the burger itself as opposed to spraying the grill it avoids a lot of flare-ups so the oil is exactly where it needs to be to keep the product from sticking to the grill top and also you’re not wasting as much product oiling a whole bunch of surfaces that you’re not to be using immediately it’s been a few minutes I’m going to go ahead and check our burgers as you can see there’s some fats coming out of the burger itself so these guys are ready to be flipped and I’m actually going to take flip them over and put them to a side of the grill that has not been used yet so I’m going to put them in fresh areas so we’re going to let these cook for another couple of minutes we’re going to open up on check on them every so often and then we’re going to temp them and make sure they’re up to a 165 before we pull them off all right I’ve gone ahead and temped my burgers they’re at 165 degrees I’m going to go ahead and pull these off and start plating so we’re going to go ahead and start plating I’ve got some freshly baked pretzel buns which I made earlier today I’m going to split that in half take a nice dose of mayonnaise on the bottom side with a nice handful of nice fresh baby spinach going to take one of my burgers set that into place take a nice thick tomato put that on the other half take some nice French julienned onions and fan those out on this other side and that’s it an open-faced turkey burger served on a pretzel bun and that wraps up this episode of moore approved I’ll leave some links down in the description box below for the seasonings that I like to use while grilling outdoors till next time I’m James see you then
