Hey, everyone, setting up your grill properly is the key to perfect grilling.
And here’s how it’s done. It’s all done by zone.
This is direct zone where you charcoal in a single layer over the bottom of your charcoal
grill or in a gas grill your burners are set all on.
This is a 2-zone setup. Double layer of charcoal on one side and a
cool zone on the other side. This is a 3-zone.
Double layer of charcoal on the left and a single layer of charcoal in the middle with
a cool zone off to the other side. This is considered an indirect zone, perfect
for placing a drip pan in the middle, where you want to create a situation as if you were
baking in an oven. Last but not least, this is what I call a
circle zone. And I use this primarily for pizzas.
Hey, that’s it. Thanks for watching.
