We are world market leader in the segment of professional, fully automatic coffee machines. You can find our machines in hotels, restaurants worldwide and they produce practically every minute espressos, cappuccinos and other coffee specialties. Many of our customers like quick service restaurants, or convenient stores are using thereby whole fleets of our machines in their outlets. When designing a common business and IT strategy, our focus was on new digital business models. A digitization project must deliver value to our customers, by making their operations more efficient and customer oriented. Together with our Microsoft partner Oraylis we have built a platform based on the cloud offerings of Microsoft Azure and Power BI. Microsoft delivers all components we need for storing and analyzing the data. The platform analyzes data based on real user stories. For example, we can share information about product sales to our customers. And with this information they can create special offers to be displayed on their machines. The machine also transmits data and repair information, so that the service engineer knows what work needs to be carried out ahead of the customer visit. Of course we continue to develop our digital platform. For example, we are testing with Microsoft HoloLens how we can visualize CAD drawings and interactively assist customers and service technicians to do machine repairs and maintenance. Thanks to the IoT features provided by Microsoft Azure, we have now made with our new digital platform a majorly forward in our digital journey. With WMF CoffeeConnect and Schaerer Coffee Link, our customers can now leverage their machine fleets even more profitably.
